| Riveting Machine Process Controller STF-1 Expert
The Process Controller STF-1 Expert is a further development of the Process Controller
STF-1 Super Plus and offers following additional
advantages for riveting machines control:
Auto-Compensation
Auto-Compensation of the riveting parameters S or T dependent on the rivet protrusion
This function produces a proportional increase
/ decrease of the parameters S or T by a defined
percentage ratio of the deviation from U. This
function makes riveted modules considerably
more tolerant to errors. For the user, this
means the riveting machine has an allowance
of larger dimensional tolerances and thereby
a
more cost-effective
manufacturing
process for rivets.

The Auto-Compensation requires a mechanical sensing organ on the riveting spindle that detects the base of the workpiece. Using this measuring unit, derived from a rivet stroke limit switch unit which a patent was applied for in 1996 and which has been developed further in the meantime, unforeseen possibilities become available to you. |

The innovation here is that not only
the protrusion of the rivet, but all process
data can be recorded and evaluated. The
operation and the comprehensibility have
nevertheless been further improved. This
model and its range of functions set new
standards for control of riveting machines. |

This additional function makes the optimised utilisation of the Process Controller STF-1 Expert with a master PLC possible without the RC-20A. |
